At Mudan Codes, we are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of young Somali tech talent who are pushing boundaries and proving that innovation has no limits.

During our most recent Ramadan Hackathon — a unique initiative aimed at keeping young minds engaged in tech during the holy month — participants competed in a series of programming and artificial intelligence challenges. These activities were designed to be both accessible and stimulating, encouraging problem-solving and creativity in a supportive online environment.

Out of the many impressive entries, two participants stood out for their exceptional skills and consistent engagement:

• 💻 Abdiladhif Abdikadir earned first place and was awarded an Original Licensed Windows 11, a valuable asset for any aspiring developer.

• 🛡️ Mari Abdi Maruuj secured a prize for her dedication and performance, winning Kaspersky Plus Original, a top-tier cybersecurity solution.

These prizes are more than just software — they’re essential tools that will empower these rising stars to build securely, confidently, and effectively as they continue their journeys in tech.
